I am what you might call a sucker.
When it comes to pets I can’t control my empathy or emotions. I tend to be the sort of guy who collects a lot of furry friends that nobody else would want to take care of. I don’t know how to say no to a dog or cat in need, and recently, this characteristic of mine has gotten me into some new issues. Namely, my care about for pets has been extended to taking care of a certainly seasoned and temperamental bird. Unfortunately, this includes changing several aspects of my life, including my Heating and Air Conditioning system. Several weeks ago it came to my attention that my acquaintance had died. As a result, his seasoned bird was now effectively homeless. I gave to take care of the big parrot without realizing what it was going to mean for my entire household, all the way down to my boiler, you see, it turns out that birds are harshly sensitive to indoor air temperature and air quality. They are even more adverse to fluctuating indoor air temperatures and cold drafts. If your bird is exposed to an ice cold draft it’s absolutely possible that they will fall sick and perish. This bird, in certain, was absolutely susceptible to fluctuating indoor air temperatures and low air quality because of his age. Within a few days of bringing him into the home it has been suggested that I update my forced air boiler with a more bird friendly boiler. Several thousand dollars later, I have brand-new radiant radiant heated floors to provide more even and accurate warmth to this free bird.
