Designing the best cabin escape

Designing the best cabin escape

For many years now, I have really wanted to own my own Cabin in the Woods.

I realized some time ago that this had to be the most relaxing and peaceful setting for anyone to live.

I’ve been extremely jealous of the folks who own cute family cabins up in the Smoky Mountains. They can utilize the cabin on weekends when they’re available, and rent out the cabin for extra income the rest of the year. Personally, I think that this is an amazing idea. I would really like to do the same thing one day. Recently, I got my opportunity. I came upon some money and decided to make my cabin dream come true. First, I found the best location and scouted out an amazing property for sale. Next, I got to work renovating the entire place. There were some cosmetic changes, but the biggest workload was overhauling of the central heating and cooling system. The family that owns the cabin before only had a rudimentary central heating system and a few window air conditioning units installed in the home. This was not going to work for a high-priced cabin rental. I needed to install high-quality, energy-efficient indoor air handling equipment for my Airbnb guests. I called the local HVAC dealership and we determines that radiant heated floors were an awesome option. I could maintain at the cabin feel of my new property with beautiful radiant heated floors, while also providing the cleanest and most energy efficient heating possible. These days, I own the most peaceful and comfortable cabin in the Smoky Mountains.
