My Grandma called me to see if I wanted to come over for dinner one night! Every week I try to go over to my Grandma’s apartment just to see her and tell her about things that are going on with my life. She consistently gives excellent advice and I adore talking to her about particular topics. She told me that she needed some help cleaning so I helped her clean. While I was cleaning I realized that her HVAC system was running a lot. I was at my Grandma’s apartment for about 4 hours and I could hear it running right when I walked in. Her HVAC system was installed about a year ago. I asked my Grandma to show me her control unit. I took a look at it and the control equipment was set at the desired temperature. However it sounded like the HVAC system was still running. I wasn’t sure why but I told my Grandma and she insisted that my good friend and I called her HVAC provider. A few afternoons later I went back to her apartment and found that her HVAC system was oversized. She measured her system and her home. That explains why It was consistently so loud and also why there was an inconsistent amount of heat and cooling in her home. There were consistently particular spots in her apartment that was too hot and too cold, and good thing I went over to my Grandma’s apartment that afternoon to help her and for dinner. If I didn’t my good friend and I wouldn’t have found the concern as soon.
