I have to admit, I did not know much about the south before I moved here. It has been a culture shock plus an adaptive experience for sure. Most days here are about 95°. My pal and I get a ton of sun plus a fair amount of humidity, then for being so numerous tropical, my associate and I do not get as much rain as you might expect. Who would have thought I would become such an A/C fan.
