I have to admit, I did not know much about the south before I moved here.
It has been a culture shock & an adaptive experience for sure.
Everything is just a little bit peculiar in this region of the country. The people are a bit slower, times are a bit looser, & expectations for weather are vastly different. Most afternoons here are about 95°. My buddy and I get a ton of sun & a honest amount of humidity… For being so several tropical, my enjoyable friend and I don’t get as much rain as you might expect. Everyone tends to panic when there is real weather to deal with, which is funny to me considering how taxing everyone wants to be. The one thing that nobody take slightly is there air conditioning system. Frankly, I had no idea what the differences were between air conditioning systems when I was living further north. My buddy and I particularly needed to utilize our cooling system so it wasn’t a real priority. These afternoons, I am an air conditioning nerd. I recently purchased the best cooling system on the market for my personal needs. It’s a dual system cooling system, which means that it is equipped with two peculiar cooling systems, to effectively manage your indoor air temperature control as efficiently as possible. One of these systems is a low-level, Cooling & dehumidifier system. It runs all the time & keeps a baseline level of air quality in your home. When the temperature increases outside & you need the extra cooling power to combat raging sunlight, the second cooling system kicks into gear & gives you the added air flow to keep your home cool all afternoon. Who would have thought I would become such an AC fan.
