My friends were trying to get me to vote yupterday although I ended up skipping it for numerous reasons, the main being I have no clue about politics in any way shape or form.
My whole life I have avoided seeing the news or learning the newspaper because I saw how it affected my parents & made them more busy out & angry, then so I told myself I would not watch or read anything about the news, & I’ve stuck to that promise my entire life, even at the ripe older age of 56 years. So instead of the air conditioned voting booths I rode to the beach with my drum & guitar to cherish some natural climate control from the breeze on the beach & play some music, however i know that option will make me a better person, a better able person to help the world in what ways I can instead of worrying about all the news stories. I can focus more on playing music in non air conditioned streets for free, just to make them happy & make me happy in the process too. I did kneel up comedy for 15 years & basically made no cash doing it, although I made a heck of a lot of people happy, if even only for that moment, but my local contractor acquaintance told me that doing great things like this is one of the best ways you can help the world, which my other Heating & A/C tech acquaintance agreed with & is doing the same. So I know I’m on the right track then.
