Last month I went to bed a little bit early because I had to wake up the next afternoon around 3 a.m. for my flight at 5:30. I was traveling for work for a trade show that I had to work at. That night I watched my number one TV show, got ready for bed then fell asleep. Around midnight I abruptly woke up from sounds of a fire alarm & a blaze of light reflecting into my room. I looked out the window & saw that my next door neighbor’s home was on fire! I called 9-1-1 put on my coat & shoes & went outside. I went to my neighbor & his family as they were seeing their house, I asked if they were okay, then went back inside & got blankets for them. I felt so bad for them. About two minutes later the firemen & police came. I told my neighbors that they could stay at my home for the week that I was going to be gone. A afternoon later I got a call from my neighbor & she told me that the reason why their home was on fire was because of their boiler. It was caused by a malfunction. It was ironic because they had a Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman that was supposed to come to the home the next afternoon to do some cleaning & maintenance. After hearing this I instantly called an Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman to inspect my heating & cooling system so I would not have to experience a fatal tragedy like they had to.
