During the winter a lot of people heat their homes.
There are many different options that people use to heat home.
However I like to use central heating to warm up my home during the frigid temperatures of winter. When I have my HVAC technician come over the other day to do a check up on my HVAC system, he told me there are some problems that he has seen this winter so far with his customers. One of these is called completely lost heat loss and this occurs when you put your hand near the vent and there is no heat coming out of the air register at all. This is one of the worst nightmares for many homeowners. There is also a problem called partial heat loss where you feel like there is some air coming out but not as much as there should be coming out of an air register. There is also another problem called thermostat malfunction. You feel different temperatures however that is not your body, that is the thermostat going through swings. This means that your thermostat is malfunctioning. Another problem that the HVAC technician has seen this season is ductwork problems. A lot of his customers are experiencing leakage due to cracks in the ductwork due to ductwork not sealed correctly. While he was doing my maintenance on my HVAC system and servicing and cleaning it he said that I did not have any of these problems. I was glad he said this because I don’t want to spend any more money on my HVAC system.
