My friends and I decided to go into the city for a few days.
We live about two hours from there and we never take the advantage of our proximity to the city. We left on a Thursday and the drive wasn’t bad at all we didn’t hit any traffic. We arrived at our hotel. It was really big and included a lot of services with our stay. Once we checked out the amenities of the hotel we decided to unpack our luggage from the car and relax. After our thirty minutes of relaxation we went to dinner around the hotel. We didn’t want to venture into the city for only a few hours, so we just waited until the next day. My experience in the city was great however our hotel and the places that we went to heat did not have good heating. The hotel during breakfast was cold. While eating our complimentary breakfast I felt such a chill and not to mention the ceiling was leaking! It was raining outside and there must have been leaks. At first I thought it was from the fountain that was near me but when I looked up I could see the drops coming down. Not to mention at the restaurant that we ate at was cold too. I had to ask my waitress twice if the heater was on and she assured me that it was. During the winter management at hotels and businesses need to be more mindful of their customer’s needs.
