It was the pilot light

Do you ever have days when you just throw up your hands and laugh at how unfortunate your fortune is? For me, this is a quarterly occurrence.

  • For as long as I can remember, I have had bad luck.

Even when things show to transfer smoothly, they tend to get easily complicated and require extra energy from me. For instance, when I recently bought a modern motorcar it turned out to be a complete disaster. The dealership took me for a ride, I had to make many trips to complete all of their paperwork, and I wound up with a lemon of a vehicle. Later, when I went to register the car, I found out they sent the registration to the wrong state. Similarly, when I was preparing my house for the impending cold winter time air, I began experiencing road blocks left and right. First, I attempted to place more insulation in the attic for better energy-efficiency this winter, only to find a ton of rodent detriment that needed to be repaired. When I finally had the rodents eradicated from the attic, we found that there was black mold hidden beneath the outdated insulation. When I had a construction team rip out the detrimentd insulation and wood, we found that there were structural complications with my air ducts. When I finally patched up my extensive air duct detriments, I swore that I was ready to take on the cold winter time season. I went to the temperature control and started up my heater, only to find that cold air with streaming from my air vents. Once again, I called off the professionals. This time, an Heating & A/C worker came out to investigate my failed furnace. I was unhappy about paying yet another repair charge to this Heating & A/C repairman. I was even more unhappy when he told me that he just needed to relight the pilot.
