It was the pilot light

Do you ever have afternoons when you just throw up your hands & laugh at how unlucky your fortune is? For me, this is a yearly occurrence.

For as long as I can remember, I have had bad luck.

Even when things show to move smoothly, they tend to get easily complicated & require extra energy from me. For instance, when I recently bought a new vehicle it turned out to be a complete disaster. The dealership took me for a ride, I had to make multiple trips to complete all of their paperwork, & I wound up with a lemon of a vehicle. Later, when I went to register the car, I found out they sent the registration to the wrong state. Similarly, when I was preparing my home for the impending chilly winter time air, I began experiencing road blocks left & right. First, I attempted to locale more insulation in the attic for better energy-efficiency this winter, only to find a ton of rodent detriment that needed to be repaired. When I finally had the rodents eradicated from the attic, we found that there was black mold hidden beneath the outdated insulation. When I had a construction team rip out the detrimentd insulation & wood, we found that there were structural complications with my HVAC ducts. When I finally patched up my extensive HVAC duct detriments, I swore that I was ready to take on the chilly winter time season. I went to the thermostat & started up my furnace, only to find that chilly air with streaming from my air vents. Once again, I called off the professionals. This time, an Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman came out to investigate my failed boiler. I was unhappy about paying yet another repair charge to this Heating & Air Conditioning repairman. I was even more unhappy when he told me that he just needed to relight the pilot.
