January is constantly a very uncommon month in our area.
The hot and cold temperatures during this time of the year are constantly very weird.
My nice friend and I have one week where it will snow like 3 feet of snow. It will also be very cold. However another week in January will be extremely moderate and all the snow will melt. My nice friend and I will have periods of rain and I will even turn off my heat for the afternoon. I will let the sunshine into my house. So in the month of January I never know what the hot and cold temperatures are really going to be like. I constantly have to make sure that I am prepared with both my heating and cooling system… What year it was 81 degrees outside, however clearly I did not need my furnace during this time. This is the perfect example of making sure that your Heating, Ventilation and A/C system is up-to-date. You may need a tune-up to ensure that you will be able to switch between Heating and Cooling very easily. If you have not had a tune-up in a long time you might want to consider getting one! Getting one before the winter time is my most favorite time to receive a tune up. This is because I would not want to go through the winter time separate from an Heating, Ventilation and A/C system if it broke down. Going through the winter time separate from any heat would not be very comfortable in my house. However if I get a tune-up I will ensure that my home will be moderate all winter time and I will be able to switch between the cooling and furnace.
