Periodically I get so mad at my fiance when I go to pay our credit card bill at the end of the month… That’s when I find out how much he has been spending from our hard-earned currency, suddenly, it is absolutely clear who holds the purse-strings in this family and who is always trying to dump our money on the ground, and i feel like my fiance has no interest in realistic spending or monitoring our budget.
This is especially the case when it comes to trendy health solutions and pseudo scientific reports, however most recently, he has become rather obsessed with purchasing all sorts of health supplements.
Meanwhile, I am a lot more interested in solutions that honestly improve our immune systems, like air cleaners, and as much as my fiance wants to assume that a pill will sustain your respiratory system and immune function, I assume that high-quality indoor air is a lot more important. It matters if you are breathing airborne contaminants all afternoon everyday. It will make a difference if you always have mold and mildew circulating through your central heating and cooling system, but even if you don’t have flu symptoms you will be impacted by dust, dirt, and dander getting trapped in your central heating and cooling implements. This is why I have been trying to convince my fiance that my friend and I should buy an air cleaner to labor in tandem with our Heating and Air Conditioning plan instead of wasting our currency on unproven supplements. My fiance agrees with the air purification plan to my face… And then I see all of the new snake oil supplements he bought a few weeks later.
