Growing up, I was always a dreamy and careless child.
I would get lost in my Daydreams and the adventures in my brain on a regular basis.
I was often scolded for being flaky and distant. I couldn’t help it, I just had more interesting things to think about in my imaginary world. This really hasn’t changed over time. Funnily enough, my best friend growing up was always extremely smart and tuned in to everything going on around him. He loved to be a part of the action and he loved to figure out how everything worked. Even when we were children, he was always deeply invested in fixing things. He was born to be an engineer, everyone always said. Well, he didn’t wind up becoming an engineer, but he did find a career that closely matches his skills and expertise. He became a certified HVAC technician and grew up to own his own heating, cooling, and ventilation supply dealership. These days, he’s turned into everything in town because he fixes everyone’s Heating and Cooling equipment. He employs almost half of the town as Heating and Cooling technicians and he invests heavily in the community. My best friend has always been a problem solver, and he’s figured out how to leverage the heating and cooling industry for everyone’s greater good. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier to have him as my buddy all these years. Not only is he a great guy, but for decades I’ve gotten the most high tech Heating and Cooling appliances available on the market for a great deal. It’s a good thing, because my head is always too high in the clouds to care about my HVAC.
