I’m the kind of guy who gets honestly overwhelmed.
If I have a million things going on in my life and a bunch of tasks on my plate throughout the afternoon I can get absolutely anxious and shut down.
This is why I can be absolutely challenging to plan a holiday with. It’s difficult enough for me to simply get through a official afternoon, let alone trying to plan several months ahead in an unfamiliar location when the weather conditions are unpredictable! Generally, I am a bigger fan of kneeling back and letting somebody else choose the travel arrangements. This is why I was so grateful to my husbandy last month when he planned our entire winter season getaway, all the way down to the central heating, cooling, and air quality control equipment that my friend and I would use. He knows that I can be a bit picky when it comes to my indoor air quality machinery. I like to have accurate, consistent air temperatures in my residing environment. I am certainly not the type of guy who can open a window for natural ventilation and feel comfortable without any indoor temperature control. This is why I get rather panicky about staying in hotels when you can’t predict their indoor air temperature control system before you check in! Knowing all of this, he went so far as to call every hotel in the part and inquire about their Indoor air Temperature control systems. He managed to find a hotel within our budget that included a mini split ductless heating and cooling system, and I have been enjoying the best holiday ever.
