Changing home to a contemporary style

Changing home to a contemporary style

I constantly am entertaining people in my home.

The snag is that my house just wasn’t set up right for it. I also can’t’ design or plan a home decor at all. I tried and failed. So it was necessary for work and leisure purposes to have a professional come in and give me advice. The interior designer changed just about everything. I wanted a contemporary style kitchen, living room and bathroom. Anywhere that guests went, I wanted it to look good. The interior designer changed all my colors to taupes, whites, grays, and a few greens. Then I got new rugs, chairs, a couch, cabinets, and even a few end tables. Next were curtains, dish towels, hand towels, and bath towels. Yes, it was expensive. Yes, it was time consuming. It honestly was worth it. After everything was all set up in the contemporary style, I just loved it. My home looked super modern, fresh, and clean. Everyone who walks into my home just loves it. They feel comfortable and content. It looks expensive and classy too. I have loosely thought about going through the bedrooms and master bathroom. I kind of want my whole house to be in a contemporary style. Right now certain rooms are sleek, elegant, and edgy. Then other rooms are whatever I found on sale at Pottery Barn. You can tell which space a professional designed and which I did. I just don’t have the eye for color, flair, and taste. An interior designer more than paid back their price in my opinion.
