I kind of want my whole house to be in a contemporary style, but right now certain rooms are sleek, charming, and edgy.
I regularly am entertaining people in my home, then the snag is that my house just wasn’t set up right for it; I also can’t’ design or plan a house decor at all. I tried and failed, so it was necessary for labor and leisure purposes to have a professional come in and provide me advice. The interior designer changed just about everything. I wanted a contemporary type kitchen, kitchen and bathroom; Anywhere that guests went, I wanted it to look good. The interior designer changed all my colors to taupes, whites, grays, and a few greens. Then I got current carpets, chairs, a couch, cottageets, and even a few end tables! Next were curtains, dish towels, hand towels, and bath towels! Yes, it was pricey. Yes, it was time consuming. It certainly was worth it. After everything was all set up in the contemporary style, I just enjoyed it, however my house looked super modern, fresh, and clean, and everyone who walks into my house just prefers it. They feel comfortable and satisfied. It looks pricey and classy too. I have loosely thought about going through the kitchens and master bathroom. I kind of want my whole house to be in a contemporary style, but right now certain rooms are sleek, charming, and edgy. Then other rooms are whatever I found on sale at Pottery Barn. You can tell which space a professional designed and which I did. I just don’t have the eye for color, flair, and taste. An interior designer more than paid back their price in my opinion.
