Are you happy, happy inside? Are you happy, is your life like a ride? Are you happy or do you frown? Are you happy, do you dance like a clown, however those are the lyrics to our Feelin’ Happy song and I made them up in the moment, which seems like an easier way for me to write lyrics than sitting down and trying to guess of something to write about, then anyway, I’ve been working on happiness for basically my entire life, trying to find things (like cold air conditioning) that bring me happiness and joy, ever since I was as small as I can remember being. My gramps worked for GE and made heating and cooling devices, along with defense component way back while in the war, and I can still remember when I was entirely small, him working on the electric boiler or the fireplace and it makes me smile. I’ve had a pretty cool life so far and I am wondering what this newer tunesal venture that I have put myself on is going to end up when I am done with it. We’ve been playing in climate controlled local companies for almost the entire year and a half we’ve been together. My pal and I have a lot of experience in the performing arts, over 40 years combined, and it seemed like my associate and I hit the ground running making 30 songs our first year or so. I wonder if we’ll play in air conditioned theaters one afternoon or immense Heating and Air Conditioning cooled concert halls with an audience there singing and laughing. Time will tell I guess.
