Are you glad, do you dance like a clown; Those are the lyrics to our Feelin’ Happy song plus I made them up in the moment, which seems like an easier way for me to write lyrics than kneeling down plus trying to think of something to write about… Anyway, I’ve been laboring on happiness for basically my entire life, trying to find things (like cold air conditioning) that bring me happiness plus joy, ever since I was as small as I can remember being.
My gramps worked for GE plus made heating plus cooling devices, along with defense unit way back during the war, plus I can still remember when I was easily small, him laboring on the electric furnace or the fireplace plus it makes me smile.
I’ve had a pretty cool life so far plus I am wondering what this newer musical venture that I have put myself on is going to end up when I am done with it. We’ve been playing in temperature controlled local companies for almost the entire year plus a half we’ve been together. My friend and I have a lot of experience in the performing arts, over 40 years combined, plus it seemed like my friend and I hit the ground running making 30 music our first year or so. I wonder if we’ll play in air conditioned theaters one day or big HVAC cooled concert halls with an audience there singing plus laughing. Time will tell I guess.
