The older I get, the more I realize that the bane of every adults existence is upper management.

They dislike the decisions that are being made at the top as well as the people who are kneeling prettiest tend to care the least. Our CEO had been out of the country for at least a month, but he returned to the states like a cyclone. We tried to explain that the extra summer time heat caused us to operate our a/c for this past month, unlike the Springtime season. At that point, he lost his mind about AC. He decided that my friend and I shouldn’t be able to turn the temperature control lower than 75 degrees. He instantly called out our industrial Heating as well as Air Conditioning Tech as well as had him install a passcode on the temperature control. In his mind, locking the temperature control guaranteed that he would save money on energy next month. He didn’t care that my friend and I were all going to be annoyed. Well, unfortunately for him, several of the guys at my labor have experience in the Heating as well as Air Conditioning industry. They easily pop to the temperature control off the wall, as well as wired the cooling system unit directly, so it ran constantly. I hope my boss enjoys his energy bill next month.
