The more I get into this music thing the more I get sucked down this rabbit hole which never looks like it will have a bottom. There is so much to learn with music that you could spend your whole life, like some artists do, and still not learn everything there is to know about the craft. I didn’t get into it till, well I guess when I was drumming seven years ago, and I haven’t even made a dent in my knowledge of the skill. But starting music in my late 40s may still give me a shot. Heating and cooling equipment repairs are very bland compared to the feeling of playing music and singing in a band. There are only two of us in the band right now but we may get joined by a third in a couple of months when my HVAC tech keyboardist moves in with me here overseas. I am still waiting for confirmation that he is going to move here but it is looking like it is going to happen. Then we need to get a bass player and we are all set. That would make four heating reps and techs in our band and I think we would have a complete sound then. Playing by a fireplace in the winter up in the mountains for a bunch of fun skiers sounds like a really cool plan, let’s see if we can achieve it.
