Renovating a home can be fun but overpriced.It is exciting to plan plus envision what a space can become but periodically homeowners are too abrupt when it comes to chopping out everything.
All they can see is the current modern space plus don’t take into account why it was set up the way it was originally. As an interior designer I see it all the time plus I wish I could give people be Insight needed to reconsider some of their choices. Take for instance the last job I had, the homeowners wanted to rip out everything in a space plus take down various of the interior walls to give the venue an open concept. This seems like a good idea to them however they also disconnected all of the ceiling fans that were located in the home because they said they were too dated. It did seem weird that every single room had a pan but after the renovation was complete I began to understand why. One of the things that homeowners did not change was the venuement of the air vents or the Heating & A/C system because they felt this would be too overpriced, then when it came time to turn the system on plus the renovations were complete they realized that the venuement was not properly done to begin with. Apparently the ceiling fans have been used to circulate the cooled plus heated air throughout the dwelling because there weren’t enough air vents to maintain a correct temperature throughout the space. Oftentimes, in older homes especially this is an economical way to circulate the temperature controlled air without having to make overpriced changes to the way an Heating & A/C system was installed.
