It is almost Christmas Eve and I have to get so much done to prepare for people to come over to my house.
I usually always host Christmas at my house so I have to make sure that I have everything in order to host.
As I was getting ready I noticed that the thermostat was dropping a little bit. My house was getting older. I did not know why this was happening. I tried to turn the numbers on my thermostat up. However when I try to do this nothing was really happening. I had to call my local HVAC company to see if they were open to come look at it for me. However they were booked solid for the day. And they’re not open on Christmas. So I was going to have to go all Christmas day without one. The one thing that I did have was a space heater. I could turn the space heater on in a space that people use the most. I will probably put this in the living room. I will heat this area of the house. I will also be cooking in the kitchen so that will make it warmer. I will not be able to heat any other areas of the home. So the bathroom might be cool. But at least the main living space will be warm for people. I can’t believe this happened right before Christmas Day when I am supposed to host the holiday. Next year I suppose I should make sure my HVAC system is going to work before the holiday gets too close.
