Every few weeks my pal and I lose our power at home, which means my pal and I lose our central heating and cooling system. In the winter, the outdoor temperatures are relatively mild so you can live without a heater without panicking about hypothermia. In the summer, but, the heat and humidity is easily oppressive if you do not have a central cooling system to lean on. When your power goes out you easily long for your air conditioner to have a backup generator. The other thing that can be dangerous with all of these trees is the likelihood of a branch hitting your high-priced central cooling system outside. Many people use metal cages to protect their high-priced air handling unit and I would suggest this to anyone who wants to keep their central cooling system safe.
